Our staff from General Fire attended the National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors and attended subjects on the fire safety industry to include Fire Suppression updates in the restaurant industry that use wood as their cooking source and the proper methods of protecting the appliances.Updates on fire code and changes that may be coming that deal with NFPA 25 Sprinkler systems, NFPA 10 Fire Extinguishers, NFPA 17A kitchen restaurant fire systems, NFPA 2001 Clean Agent Systems as well as various other codes that affect us all.   Subjects on ADA and Building Code for installation of fire extinguishers to properly comply with codes and laws as well as the need to inspect and tag Fire Doors that began January 2018.  Various management tool breakout sessions also took place to help fire service companies such as General Fire keep pace with our ever changing industry and the world.
