To meet NFPA guidelines and ensure quality, Amerex stringently tests this product with Underwriters Laboratory to meet UL 300, Standard for Fire Testing of Fire Extinguishing Systems for Protection of Commercial Cooking Equipment. KP is designed to accommodate the needs of building and restaurant owners who utilize restaurant fire suppression systems to protect their valuable property and ensure the safety of the people working in the kitchens. We can perform the required inspections and testing of your kitchen hood fire suppression system in accordance with the requirements of your insurance company, OSHA and the State and local fire departments. These suppression systems are required semi-annually per fire code and manufacturers requirements. Fuse links are required to be changed every 6 months. Nozzle caps or seals, depending on the brand of fire system you have, are required annually to be changed. System cylinders and other various components are required to be Hydro-tested and updated every 12 years.
