First aid kits are required to be maintained according to OSHA regulations, and General Fire & Safety has a mobile 1st aid van service to help with all your first aid needs.  General Fire & Safety can assist with your employee first aid program by coming to your site or work location to replenish your kits to maintain proper stockage.

New OSHA / ANSI regulations call for a Class A or Class B first aid kit now to meet first aid requirements.  Call on us to assist in determining what kit you will need to fit your application.

How do I know if I need a CLASS A kit or a CLASS B kit?

-The newest ANSI standard introduces two classes of first aid kits: CLASS A and CLASS B. CLASS A kits are designed to deal with the most common types of workplace injuries. CLASS B kits are designed with a broader range and quantity of supplies to deal with injuries in more complex or high-risk environments.
-General warehouse and office locations most likely will fall under the CLASS A standard.
-Manufacturing, Construction, Processing plants, or any facility that has an elevated risk of serious injury will fall under the CLASS B standard (if you are required to wear personal protective equipment then you fall under the Class B requirement ).
